What is retirement? I don’t know, but I think it means that you are no longer required to work for a living. Although that sounds great, it’s not for everybody. Some people get bored. Some people find that life has less meaning. That said, studies do suggest that volunteering can improve your life.  Some go so far as to say that volunteering can improve your soul.
